CAGP Toronto

A better world through charitable giving.

Welcome

The Canadian Association of Gift Planners is the only organization in Canada that brings together charitable representatives with donor advisors in one professional association. Among our fundraising, legal and financial peers, we are looked to as the experts in strategic charitable gift planning.

The GTA Chapter is dedicated to advancing and strengthening strategic charitable giving through professional development, engaging events and fun social networking opportunities. We bring together charitable fundraisers and professional advisors to strengthen and inspire philanthropy, connect and share knowledge about strategic charitable giving, leading to a more generous and just society.

  • We welcome CAGP members from Peel, Toronto, Durham, York, Simcoe, Northern Ontario, and the Niagara and Golden Horseshoe regions.
  • We host Education sessions, where our members can gain knowledge, ask questions and network with a variety of experts and peers in the field.
  • We offer local members (both new to the field and experienced) the opportunity to connect and collaborate with like-minded professionals through our unique Mentorship Program and Chapter Social Events.
  • We recognize and celebrate leadership in charitable gift planning with our Celebrating Excellence Awards.
  • We strive to raise public awareness of the impact of legacy giving with CAGP members, professional associations and the public across the GTA and surrounding community.

Our Chapter is run by a dedicated group of volunteers. We encourage you to meet our Executive Committee by getting involved in our many events and programs or serving on one of our various committees. Join us!
